{Review} The Devil's Flower @LisaCollicutt

In a town called Nowhere, angels and demons battle for salvation—who will win—and what will be the cost?
Killing isn’t exactly on Rosalie Lockwood’s list of things to do when she runs away from home. But despite her search for peace; guns and motorcycles become her latest fashion accessories as Divine interference leads her to Steele, co-leader of the Fallen Paladins motorcycle club.
Leathered and tattooed, Steele’s presence scares off most people he comes in contact with — but not Rosalie. She’s immediately drawn into the dangers of his biker world—and into his heart.
But Steele guards a secret that if Rosalie knew, could shatter their new love — along with destroy the human race. And the truth comes at a price.
Will Rosalie risks her soul to prove her loyalty to Steele?
The Dark and Light Realms collide as Rosalie chooses between life, death, and the ever-after to become that which she is fated to destroy.

Teaser - Chapter One - Divine Union:

Darkness descended over the freeway. Rosalie turned the key in the ignition a final time. Nothing. A string of unladylike words flew from her mouth as she bashed the side of her fist on the steering wheel. Her only result was pain. Two states from home, her car had run out of gas, her cell phone was dead, and she had to pee so badly she could taste it.

Lisa likes to write dark and twisted tales of magic and romance. She has a passion for Young Adult and New Adult Paranormal

When she's not conjuring tales about witches, demons, and other magical beings, she can be found leathered, and bound to the back of her husband's Harley, touring her homeland of Nova Scotia, Canada.

Enter Lisa's imagination where light ends and fantasy begins. But heed these warnings . . . it's dark, it's magical, you may experience tingles.

Coming 2014 - Books two and three of The Eternal Beings Trinity - The Demon's Wrath & The Angel's Retribution.

{Review} {Giveaway} @litfuse Win a “Bonding Spa Day” from Deb DeArmond | Related by Chance, Family by Choice! @DebDeArmond

Related by Chance, Family by Choice
Transforming Mother-in-Law and Daughter-in-Law Relationships. What does it take to create true family unity between moms and the women who marry their sons?
The caricatures are everywhere, the jokes are inexhaustible, and the stereotypes fill the screens. From Marie Barone (Everyone Loves Raymond) to Viola Fields (Monster-in-Law) to Internet sites and social media pages like ihatemyinlaws.com and a Facebook page for ihatemymotherinlaw there is no shortage of examples of the caustic relationships that can develop between the two women in a man’s life.
Deb DeArmond and her three daughters-in-law have conducted their own exhaustive research into the status of the women-in-law relationship. Their research, which incorporated online surveys, interviews, and discussions, included asking about the faith factor in the relationships they studied. Of the respondents, nearly 90 percent claimed they were Christians, and 79 percent said their faith was foundational and guided their actions and decisions. As discouraging as it may be, the numbers of those they surveyed who reported that their women-in-law relationships were “bad” were nearly identical to those in a survey conducted by a popular secular website that recorded no statistics on faith.
Beyond the statistics and their analysis, Deb brings to this book more than thirty years working with adults to improve communications and deal constructively with conflict. Aside from her research and her professional expertise, perhaps the most important asset Deb brings to this work is her own relationship with her three daughters-in-law that is so obviously and unusually positive that she—and they—are often asked to explain the secret of the relationships they share.
This practical and unapologetically scriptural book covers issues of personal perceptions, strained communication, the roles of sons and fathers in the relationship’s success, how to begin these relationships on the right foot, and the necessity of trust and love. Deb’s one motivating objective is to help women-in-law move from women who are simply related to strong and confident members of a truly spiritual family.

The Witch's Salvation
A witch who demands humanity.

The immortal families who denied her of it.

Two mortals commanded to right the wrong.

That is the fate of the urban princess Anasztasia and the renegade prince Matthias, born shockingly mortal to two immortal families. If they go back in time and restore the witch’s humanity, she will grant them immortality. She will also break a 550 year-old curse that imprisons Matthias’s family in their ancestral homeland and exiles Anasztasia’s family from it.

But to make their lives their own, the heirs must return to the most dangerous day in their families’ past, Easter Sunday, 1457, the day Vlad III, aka Dracula, massacred nobles.

How can they change the day when their families will not speak of their wrongs?

How can they refuse when the witch owns their lives?

But when Mark does not return from a business trip to the U.S. and when the hours of waiting for him stretch into days, the foundations of Hannah’s certainty begin to crack. As her investigation leads her away from their fairytale romance into a place of violence and fear she must decide whether the secrets Mark has been keeping are designed to protect him or protect her . . .

When I started this series I wasn't sure I was going to like it.  Fated took me forever to read but by the time that I got to Horizon I was all in!  This is such a darker series Noel has written.  I loved her Immortal series but this series is so much more!  This final book to the Soul Seekers series will leave you gasping for breath.  It is dark and edgy and has more lessons than anyone ever realized.  Books can teach you so many things and this series teaches you to live with your heart and to always see what is true not what you want to see.  In this book it all comes to a rise of who will be the baddie and who will win! This is the book you want to read if you want a story about the last fight for love.  Will love conquer all or will evil and darkness take over?  Find out in this last installment of the Soul Seekers.

Ok this one has me thinking how did they make two more books with the way this one ended?!  It also has me saying WTF MAN! This was so much better than book one! It was a little faster which was great! We get more POVs which is even better!  And a few new characters to toss into the fold. The story of good vs. evil is brought to its peak and at then end we are unsure of who is still living, who is dead, and what will be in books three and four!  This one will leave you screaming NOOOOOOOOOO!
