About the Author
Well this one started out really well. It has a fast paced start and it was going very well. But, somewhere along the in second 2 it got lost. The story took a turn for the worst and just started to drag. I really loved the story but it really made me think about the story line of (Under the Never Sky) where they were also looking for the Blue (that one was the Still Blue). But where UTNS was a fast paced ride of yummies. Frozen felt bogged down by a fast pasted story that died.
Wes and Nat were ok characters. I don't think they were fully formed. Which with Nat I can understand that. But, I also thought that in this book it was weird that everyone was a teen. I mean it says that Wes was a marine sergeant (AT 16?!) That just seems a little to far fetched for my taste.
The other issue was the world building. You don't really get any explanation about why or how anything has happened. Which I really wanted to know more about.
So it sucks to say that the cool things of having powers and this really cool stone were lost in the massiveness of blah.
