#Review #Giveaway of Goodbye Stranger by @rebstead

Bridge is an accident survivor who's wondering why she's still alive. Emily has new curves and an almost-boyfriend who wants a certain kind of picture. Tabitha sees through everybody's games--or so she tells the world. The three girls are best friends with one rule: No fighting. Can it get them through seventh grade?
This year everything is different for Sherm Russo as he gets to know Bridge Barsamian. What does it mean to fall for a girl--as a friend?
On Valentine's Day, an unnamed high school girl struggles with a betrayal. How long can she hide in plain sight?

I was not prepared to like this book.  And well this one ended up being ok so I do think that if you like books with different POVs about life in middle school then you should give this one a try.

The POVs felt somewhat fragmented for me which made the story hard to get into.  I didnt really connect with any of them which also made it hard to love this book.

This story is about friendship in middle school and high school.  It was a good little story to try if you want to read about how relationships can become toxic and how each one changes and evolves over the course of school.

My partner and I aren't much for V day. We give each other a card and then go about our daily routines. She goes to work and I take care of the house and her 93yr old father who lives down the hall from us.

Usually not very much. We do acknowledge it and sometimes have a special dinner together. Thanks
