#Booktour: The Last Messenger of Zitol by Chelsea @dyrengo @CedarFortBooks

Taken captive to the magnificent kingdom of Zitol, an ancient American city with a passion for food, gold, and human sacrifice, Rishi is forced to decide between betraying her virtue or being sacrificed to the city's pagan gods.

Chelsea Bagley Dyreng is the author of The Cenote. She was raised in Wyoming and Idaho and earned her BA at Brigham Young University. She worked for several years as a librarian before moving to North Carolina where she and her husband are raising five God-fearing, book-loving, adventure-seeking kids.

The setting in this story makes this story come alive!! I have loved the Mayans for years so I was so exited to read a story with them involved.  You can really tell how much the author did to research on their world and way of life.  And it was so amazing!

The author doesnt shy away from anything in this story.  It was engaging and I just couldn't put it down!  If your looking for something new and fresh then pick this one up now!
