This week were talking about Canceled Series.  There have been a few seires that I have loved that have gotten canceled so now I am left on a cliffhanger that will never end.  So today I ask the question.  Do you think publishers should buy a series as a whole and even if it doesn't hit the best sellers list etc that all of the books should be published?

Hello readers I decided to create a really great list of dystopian novels!  These are ones that I have personally read and loved so you know they won’t do you wrong. 

Is the Summer Reading List Dead?

You know the drill! You get ready to leave school for the summer and your teacher gives you this long list of books to read over the summer. Or maybe you are like my daughter when she was in 5th and 6th grade and the school just gives you a title to complete?  

Or even so if you are getting to the higher grades the summer reading list be it one book or more has died and doesn’t exist.   I was really surprised when we went to grab my daughter’s report card and her summer reading book to find out that there wasn’t one. That has gone on since the summer after 7th grade. 

Does Classic literature still have a place in today's classrooms?

Hello readers I decided to write this post after learning what books my oldest daughter who just started 9th grade would be reading for school and I have to say that I was really surprised. 

Instead of reading some of the most amazing young adult titles out there they will be reading Romeo and Juliet, The Odyssey, To Kill A Mockingbird, and Of Mice and Men.
