#FairyLoot Unboxing May 2022: Cloak & Dagger

This months Fairyloot was Cloak and Dagger.  I have to say that it was not my favorite box or even my most hated.  It was just disappointing really.

#Unboxing: illumicrate May 2022 Into the Dark

Well my first illumicrate came in the mail and I give it a full 4 stars.  I loved the items in this box but I think that the book itself was kind of lacking for an exclusive edition.  Overall I would totally get this box again if I could afford it.

@Owlcrate #Unboxing #FightLikeAGirl

To say today has been hard is an understatement. It has been one of the hardest days this year and I know with everything that is going on it is going to get much worse. But to cheer me up my Owlcrate came today and this box was so good. I love the wall hanging and the exclusive cover that they came up with for this box. I can't wait to read it.

#Unboxing @Fairyloot #SaveTheKingdom!

Other than the two bath products in this one (that bath bomb smells divine!! I wish I could use it) This box was a great ending to my run of getting them. I will miss getting Fairyloot more than I can say and I wish them all the best in others getting their boxes. The best thing out of this box was that book sleeve it really got to me about not letting fear rule me right now.

#Unboxing @LitLoveBox #BadAssLadies (This box was awesome!!)

This box was wonderful!!! I have to say that I loved every item in it and man it had a good amount of things. I did think it was a little weird we got a book that has been out for a few years but its one that I wanted to I am totally not mad at all it looks amazing!! This little dragon cozy thing stole my heart and the book sleeve is just wonderful! You could totally use it both inside and out which is awesome. I love the no seams style of these. The tote bag has a quote on it that was one of my favs from the Harry Potter movies I always cheer when it comes up lol. (I am such a nerd and well a mom). This box I ended up grabbing because the proceeds were going to a family of three kids that lost their parents and I was glad that I had the funds to help out. You can check out this box via their website at https://t.co/w7RZQw6wSA

#Unboxing of the April @Uppercasebox

About the Book:

From the author of I Believe in a Thing Called Love, a laugh-out-loud story of love, new friendships, and one unique food truck.

Clara Shin lives for pranks and disruption. When she takes one joke too far, her dad sentences her to a summer working on his food truck, the KoBra, alongside her uptight classmate Rose Carver. Not the carefree summer Clara had imagined. But maybe Rose isn't so bad. Maybe the boy named Hamlet (yes, Hamlet) crushing on her is pretty cute. Maybe Clara actually feels invested in her dad’s business. What if taking this summer seriously means that Clara has to leave her old self behind?

With Maurene Goo's signature warmth and humor, The Way You Make Me Feel is a relatable story of falling in love and finding yourself in the places you’d never thought to look.

#BookReview: Before She Ignites (Fallen Isles Trilogy #1) by @jodimeadows

Before

Mira Minkoba is the Hopebearer. Since the day she was born, she’s been told she’s special. Important. Perfect. She’s known across the Fallen Isles not just for her beauty, but for the peace treaty named after her, an agreement which united the seven islands against their enemies on the mainland.

But Mira never felt perfect. She counts compulsively. She struggles with crippling anxiety. And she’s far too interested in dragons for a girl of her station.

After

Then Mira discovers an explosive secret that challenges everything she and the treaty stand for. Betrayed by the very people she spent her life serving, Mira is sentenced to the Pit—the deadliest prison in the Fallen Isles. There, a cruel guard would do anything to discover the secret she would die to protect.

No longer beholden to those who betrayed her, Mira must learn to survive on her own and unearth the dark truths about the Fallen Isles—and herself—before her very world begins to collapse.

#Unboxing May #Uppercasebox

Today our Uppercasebox came last week and I have to say that I am in love with the three bookish items that were sent.  However, I am also sad.  This will be the last box that I receive from them at this time.  This came about after doing a post (it will be up Saturday May 27th for our Shelfie meme). That the cost of the items sent and the book versus what I paid don't really meet up.  Im sad to see Uppercasebox go.  But for me and the cost they just don't work out when there are so many other boxes out there to try.

@Owlcrate | Unboxing | February 2017

Here is the March Owlcrate Unboxing! I have to say that I really like that I can figure out what the book is before it comes. That way I don't end up with something I don't think I would want to read.  That being said there will NOT be an unboxing for Owlcrate for April for that reason.

Don't have Owlcrate? Use my code and let us know and we'll send you some bookish goodies!!
