Help the Houseless!

It has been almost 5 months since we have been houseless. It hasn't been to bad until now.  As Florida heats up the car heats up even more.  And that means we are spending more money getting out of the car to stay cool.  But unfortunately there are no long term solutions to our situation.  We just don't make enough to afford rent in this area so we are just attempting to survive at this point.

Thought it was time for a small update.  If you didn't know myself and my family lost our rental back in Jan. and have now been living out of our cars for the last month or so.   That being said it hasn't been as bad as we were thinking it was going to be. However, we need your help to survive.  With living in the car we have noticed that we use an insane amount of gas and we could really use help with food.  We have contacted a few pantries but they wont allow us to just take what we can use.  And we don't want to waste food that someone else could use.  

Life Update with Homelessness

Well hello readers. This is just an update.  Well unfortunately the thing we have been waiting for has happened.  Our landlord did not want to honor the lease that was signed and paid for.  So as of Jan. 12th we have been living in our cars.  Luckily right now a friend is letting us stay with her. But unfortunately that will not be a permanent solution.

Hello readers this is just a few updates that are going to be taking place right now.  I have been picking up more shifts at the bookstore so it looks like for the time being I will be working all week long.  So posts will be done on Mondays only.  Please understand that I am doing posts alone so with the amount of things we have. I have to do it while I have time.  With the miscarriage, hurricane, losing our foodstamps, and work I just need a break. So I will still be doing as much as I can.

Hello readers if you didn't know I was out of commission the last few days due to the fact that I unfortunately miscarried over the past two weeks.  We were so excited to find out that I was pregnant but unfortunately something was wrong and I lost the baby.  Luckily I was only a few weeks along and it looks like everything is progressing as it should.  I am not sure if we could bring ourselves to try again after dealing with the pain and loss.  Posts will be coming this week as I slowly get back into reading and doing posts.  So please give me time to get back into the swing of things in the coming weeks.  

The other update is that posts might be late coming later this week due to a hurricane that is on its way towards us.  So unfortunately we might lose power and internet.

#LifeHappens: Past week updates!

Life seems to be happening more and more these days. From kids getting sick to finding out that I am pregnant and all that nausea hits me like a ton of bricks.  I feel like this is the first time since the start of this month that I've gotten the time to get work done.  So I am sorry if I missed any posts.  I know that I was so late with posts this week.  I hope that my new schedule will work out better but please be warned if these symptoms kick up again I will most likely be late with things again.  As I am doing the best I can.  

I need a vacation

I have only known I was pregnant for a few days and I feel like its sapped all of my energy.  I know a lot of it is just the stress of needing to find out if I am pregnant or am I just starting menopause which after talking to a few people including a nurse etc.  That the odds its a false positive are slim.  But there's just so many things that can go wrong early on and its scaring the crap out of me.  

#LifeHappens: I am Pregnant

When they tell you that life happens I never thought it was going to be me writing this post that at the age of 40. I am pregnant with my third child.  Its been a crazy year from being in a car accident and my oldest deciding to leave us in the lurch and moving out at 18.  So this was definitely a surprise for us.  But a happy one if not somewhat stressful.  So now were go forward knowing next year around May we will have another baby in the house.  Something we havent been in almost 12 years.  So thats going to be weird.  

End of Week Check in: How did you do?

I don't know about you but I am tired.  Today I had to take my youngest to her Gymnastics class that so far she is loving and she gets to do it for free which is awesome!  I hope that she gets to continue once Ballet starts as she has wanted to do that for ages.

How is everyone doing this week?  So far when I actually posted this. My week hasn't started to bad.  Its Monday at almost 6pm and I am sitting here doing this weeks and next weeks posts and watching Youtube.  I have to say that Youtube Premium is so worth it if you are going to watch it for any length of time.  Its nice not having ads.  It is so worth the money.  

Car Accident

I finally got my computer working again.  I just wanted to update everyone to the accident that happened three days ago.  I am so sorry for not posting but even just doing this is making my left wrist and arm hurt.  

I will be back to posting April 4th.   

We are all ok just super stiff and my left side hurts.  Ive been hold up in my room for the past few days and i'm on the med.  

Going Forward into 2022

Over the years this site has done so many things. From tours to promotions to memes and more.  Going into 2022 I took a long look at what I wanted to do.  I even thought about getting rid of my site all together and just focus on social media.  

Taking Time Off

Hello readers I have finally sat down at the computer to write this post.  I will be back posting again starting Dec. 1st. I just really needed a break. From my oldest insurance being messed up (She is a type one diabetic), to just financial issues in general, and attempting to get food into the house. I just really needed to have a break from posting.

Hello readers and authors!! I come to you today because we have officially gotten out first bill for my 17 year old's medical.  My oldest is a type one diabetic and her insurance has gotten messed up.  We are in the long process of hopefully getting it fixed but until then. We will be 100% responsible for her medical supplies.  Which range in the thousand's of dollars a month.  Currently we have gotten one bill in the mail for a trip to the ER a few months back.  It is $316 and you can find the picture of that on our social media.  

Short Break!

Update! Sorry for the Disappearing Act

Hey readers I just wanted to pop on here and say that I am totally sorry for the disappearing act that happened the last two weeks.  With everything thats been going on I just need a break.  Since I found a job we'll be redoing our calendar and when we post.  Just so that I don't burn myself out again.

Well if you haven't heard yesterday I was hired on the spot and I am finally employed after looking for a job for about 4 years!! I am so excited that I will be working in a local used bookstore in Lakeland!! I hope to see you there is you are local and even if you aren't you can check out some of their titles on their website and purchase from there.  Its being updated currently so there are only a few things on there but more is coming!!

#MyWeekInReview: Migraines SUCK but HHN is amazing!

This week I had four days with a killer migraine so that was fun!!  I have DNFed so many books this week I actually forgot the last book I read when someone asked.  And I am finally using this datebook from Owlcrate from last year.
