My Review:
This one just wasn’t for me. It started off strong, and the early tension, especially the car accident, had me fully invested. But once the full-chapter flashbacks kicked in, the story completely lost its momentum. The pacing slowed to a crawl, the flow became choppy, and I found myself drifting away from the plot instead of being pulled deeper in. I kept trying to push through, but the structure and style just didn’t work for me, so I ended up setting it aside.
