My Review:
This one just didn’t work for me. It had an interesting setup and atmosphere, but overall it felt really lacking and I struggled to stay invested in it.
Ever since House of Salt and Sorrows, I feel like this author’s newer books haven’t reached that same level for me. That first duology was incredible, but everything after has felt a bit subpar in comparison, and this one was no exception.
Just not one I connected with.
