This sequel brought the heat. The world feels even more layered this time around, with political twists, ancient magic, and characters who are messy in the best way. It’s dark, intense, and honestly kind of addictive. The pacing had a few dips here and there, but when things clicked, they really clicked. The tension between certain characters had me hooked, and the stakes just kept climbing. If you’re into fantasy with a bit of bite and a whole lot of intrigue, this is one to check out.
