#Review #Giveaway of The King Slayer (The Witch Hunter #2) by @virgboecker @Novl
"I think, in time, you'll either be my greatest mistake or my greatest victory."
Former witch hunter Elizabeth Grey is hiding within the magically protected village of Harrow, evading the price put on her head by Lord Blackwell, the usurper king of Anglia. Their last encounter left Blackwell ruined, but his thirst for power grows stronger every day. He's readying for a war against those who would resist his rule--namely Elizabeth and the witches and wizards she now calls her allies.
Having lost her stigma, a magical source of protection and healing, Elizabeth's strength is tested both physically and emotionally. War always means sacrifice, and as the lines between good and evil blur once more, Elizabeth must decide just how far she'll go to save those she loves.
"[Filled] with everything a good fantasy book needs: swords, poison, black magic, and betrayal."--April Tucholke, author of Between the Devil and the Deep Blue Sea, on The Witch Hunter

#Review Don't Tempt Me by @LoriLFoster
Jason Guthrie has no time for entanglements—between helping out his widowed brother and teenage nephew and getting his hometown back on its feet, his days are spoken for. But his nights are another story… And when his lovely new neighbor, Honor Brown, reluctantly accepts his help in remodeling her house, Jason finds himself wishing his handyman skills could knock down the defenses she keeps building around herself.
Martial arts teacher Sullivan Dean knows real danger when he sees it—even when it takes the form of the gorgeous blonde helping her friend move in across the street. After putting his wayward past behind him to focus on teaching control to troubled kids, Sullivan has learned to avoid party girls like Lexie Perkins. But Sullivan can't seem to keep his hands off the real woman behind that flirty charm—or keep his heart from landing at her feet…

#BEA16 Updates with some tips from @emmmabooks
Thanks for checking out this weeks updates! Well after a lot of looking we have out hotel! Its a nicer one so thats good and only 25 minutes from the Event. So thats a plus! Me and Rachael are back to driving since taking the train and then a taxi and or the bus was going to be way to much money! So we've mapped out our drive (well my drive since she doesnt drive)
Parking is paid for and were now just counting down the days before we leave (which is May 8th if you were wondering) The only sad thing is was that taking the train we would have been able to visit DC and well ive never been there so that would have been really cool!
But all well maybe some day.
I love sharing Emma's videos she is always so up beat and well she knows her stuff (esp. shadowhunter related) This one is about how to Survive Signings so we thought it would be a great edition to this post so enjoy and make sure to check out her channel!

#BEA16: Travel
So last week we talked about how its going with our hotel. So far as I'm writing this the hotel issue is still somewhat up in the air. Hopefully we can find one more person to split at least a few days with.
As for travel. We were going to be driving ok well I was going to be driving while Rachael navigated but after some thought we decided it would be around the same cost (actually a little cheaper) to just take the train. I haven't been on a train since I was 25 and I was heading out west to meet family for the first time. So this will be an interesting thing!
No the next question is am I going to kill my 5 year old before we go? (JK kinda of) She is going with us and well I am kinda of already starting to regret that decision. I guess I can always change my mind and go without her. I guess well see as the event gets closer.
