#BookTalks To Post or Not Post with @WitchReader

Thanks for checking out this weeks Book Talks.  So this week were talking about wither or not we should post about certain books.  Ive been reading and posting about books for almost 10 years. WOW how the time flies by!  This year well be celebrating our 7th anniversary in Oct.  And well its been a long time running!   

So for the most part we do reviews for all books we read.  Now there are quite a few the ive read via my owned books that for whatever reason I didnt post a review. Most of those are books that I DNFed very shortly into the book and just didnt think about taking the time to say hey I read 10 pages of this book and well I thought it sucked!  I just didnt see the point in it.  

But there comes a time when you just need to ask yourself.

SHOULD YOU POST?

So heres this weeks question.  Do you think we should post about books we DNF or just downright HATE?  

Ive been thinking about this for some time.  Maybe we could do a weekly meme of DNFed or Dumped books or something.  And then leave the full posts to those we loved!!

April is Sexual Assault Awareness Month via @BookRiot

Some of you may not know but April is Sexual Assault Awareness Month.  Many of you also may not know that growing up I (Jessica) was abused as a child.  At the age of 6-8 and then again at the age of 10-11 I was sexually assaulted.  It is something that has haunted me for years but I'm happy to say that now a days it no longer bothers me the way it used to.  May of the things that had happened my mind blocked and I don't remember.  Other things I do.  I wanted to talk about this because this is a topic that we should talk about.  Esp. with me being a parent it is one topic that you should talk to your kids about.  Or if you are the kid talk to your parents.
