#BookReview: Loved (House of Night Other World #1) by @pccastauthor @KCastAuthor

The bestselling series has returned! Join P.C. and Kristin Cast in celebrating the tenth anniversary of the House of Night series by going on a thrilling new adventure with your beloved Nerd Herd.
It’s Zoey’s eighteenth birthmas and the Nerd Herd has been scattered across the country busily adulting for almost a year when Stark calls them back to Tulsa to surprise Z. But all is not well in T-town. Strange, dark signs are appearing—could it be possible Neferet is stirring? Not willing to chance disaster striking again, Zoey calls on her newly reunited friends to circle with her and add a layer of protection over Neferet’s grotto jail. Easy-peasy, right?
Wrong. Nothing at the House of Night is ever as it seems.
With rabid red vampyres closing in, Zoey and the Nerd Herd must come together again and battle evil. But a year is a long time. Have these old friends grown too far apart?
When the world fractures and allies become enemies, will darkness devour friendships or will light save those she’s loved?

#BookReview: Boat of Dreams by Rogério Coelho

How does a boy come to live alone in an apparently deserted city? Are
they separated by distance or by time? Does the man dream the boy? Does
the boy dream the man? Is a blank paper in a floating bottle an
invitation to imagine our futures? Is the man’s flying boat an
encouragement to the boy to dream? Are the man and the boy the same
person—the boy dwelling in the man’s memory? Is a message in a bottle
the earthbound dreams of the elderly? Is a flying boat the unconstrained
dreams of the young? This wordless, many-layered 80-page picture book
invites all these interpretations and more. The intricately detailed
illustrations reveal new wonders with each viewing. Neither children nor
adults will ever tire of this wonderful testament to imagination,
memory, and dreams.

Forsaken by @connieamichael

Eighteen-year-old Oli cannot remember life outside the barrier, a life before the oil spill that poisoned human kind, killing half the population and infecting the other half until they deteriorated from the inside out, forced to walk the earth as Screamers. It’s a dangerous new world in which barely anyone makes it past the age of twenty, and Oli’s time is running out.   Studying the Bible, Oli searches for words to help restore faith in a lost world, and when she receives a message from God telling her to leave the barrier, she knows what she must do. There’s only one problem: Her best friend, Coi, doesn’t believe her, and he’s showing the first signs of infection. But before she can convince him to leave with her, the Governor quarantines Coi and orders his execution. Oli risks it all to rescue Coi, and they set out to find sanctuary away from the safety of the compound, not knowing who or what will get to them first: the Governor, the illness, or the Screamers. When they stumble upon a group of uninfected humans hidden among the rubble of an apartment building, they think they’ve found their salvation. But not everything is as it seems, and their enemies are closer than they thought.

#BookReview: Kid Savage, Volume 1 by Joe Kelly, ILYA

When the pioneering -First Family in Space- takes a catastrophic wrong turn on their maiden voyage, they crash on a dangerous alien planet. Their 21st century know-how is useless against the harsh environment and survival seems unlikely until they meet a strange ally... a mysterious orphan boy, short on temper but big on survival skills.
This heartfelt adventure is the brainchild of Man of Action Entertainment (Big Hero 6, Ben 10) founder JOE KELLY (I Kill Giants, Four Eyes) and lauded British cartoonist ILYA.

#Spotlight: Omega (The Infinity Division #2) by @JusAccardo @YaReads

The second book in the Infinity time travel series is full of action, romance, and an intricately designed roller coaster plot.

One mistake can change everything. Ashlyn Calvert finds that out the hard way when a bad decision leads to the death of her best friend, Noah Anderson.

Only Noah isn’t really gone. Thanks to his parents’ company, the Infinity Division, there is a version of him skipping from one dimension to another, set on revenge for the death of his sister, Kori. When a chance encounter brings him face-to-face with Ash, he’s determined to resist the magnetic pull he’s felt for her time and time again. Because falling for Ash puts his mission in danger.

But there’s more going on in Ash’s alternate universe than either of them knows: a mysterious project called Omega. A conspiracy spanning multiple Earths and revolving around none other than Ash. Its creators would do anything to keep Omega secret…

Anything.
