Review: Goddess Test Series

Mass Review of The Goddess Test Series
by: Aimee Carter

Well I was approved to read the second book in this series by netgalley. So I broke down and purchased both the novella and the first book in the series.

I am so glad that I did as I was not disappointed in any way and I can't wait for the next one.

Title: The Goddess Test
Purchased from Amazon
About The Book:
It's always been just Kate and her mom—and her mother is dying. Her last wish? To move back to her childhood home. So Kate's going to start at a new school with no friends, no other family and the fear her mother won't live past the fall. Then she meets Henry. Dark. Tortured. And mesmerizing. He claims to be Hades, god of the Underworld—and if she accepts his bargain, he'll keep her mother alive while Kate tries to pass seven tests.
Kate is sure he's crazy—until she sees him bring a girl back from the dead. Now saving her mother seems crazily possible. If she succeeds, she'll become Henry's future bride, and a goddess.

MY REVIEW: So I was very scared to read this book!  I had heard that it was horrible.  Well I'm here to say that I loved it.  The way they used the greek gods was wonderful and it worked out  very well.  It was fast paced and didn't lag in to many places.

Title: The Goddess Hunt
Purchased from Amazon
About the Book:
A vacation in Greece sounds like the perfect way for Kate Winters to spend her first sabbatical away from the Underworld...until she gets caught up in an immortal feud going back millennia. Castor and Pollux have been on the run from Zeus and Hades's wrath for centuries, hiding from the gods who hunt them. The last person they trust is Kate, the new Queen of the Underworld. Nevertheless, she is determined to help their cause. But when it comes to dealing with immortals, Kate still has a lot to learn....
A Goddess Test series ebook novella.

MY REVIEW: ok so this one is very short! And is in a few peoples POV.  But don't worry its isn't complicated like some books.  The author did a VERY good job with switching POV's in this very short in-between book.  This is tech book two in this series and for $1.29 you can't beat that.

Title: Goddess Interrupted
Given for review from NETGALLEY
About the Book:
Kate Winters has won immortality.

But if she wants a life in the Underworld with Henry, she’ll have to fight for it.

Becoming immortal wasn’t supposed to be the easy part. Though Kate is about to be crowned Queen of the Underworld, she’s as isolated as ever. And despite her growing love for Henry, ruler of the Underworld, he’s becoming ever more distant and secretive. Then, in the midst of Kate’s coronation, Henry is abducted by the only being powerful enough to kill him: the King of the Titans.

As the other gods prepare for a war that could end them all, it is up to Kate to save Henry from the depths of Tartarus. But in order to navigate the endless caverns of the Underworld, Kate must enlist the help of the one person who is the greatest threat to her future.

Henry’s first wife, Persephone.

MY REVIEW: This one took me a little to get through.  It was a little slower and the time line was a little odd.  However it was a very good book and I can't wait for the next one as this book ends on a GIANT cliff hanger!

The Next book in this series will be called:
The Goddess Inheritance
Goddess Test #3
 - Harlequin Teen - April 2013
I so can't wait for this book to come out!

Ok now for the moment you have ALL been waiting for!  My Rating lol!  So since I read all of these books in the past three days (I  know I'm crazy) I am not going to give an individual.  I will however be giving an over all rating!  So here it is.

I think I liked this series enough to finish them, but not enough to say that I loved it.
