My Review:
Ok this is probably going to get my flogged! I am giving this book 2 stars. (looks around for the hate) I am so sorry I tried soooo hard to love this book. But, in the end I found myself skimming just to finish it. I do have book two and will be reading it soon. But, this one is just a book that you want to take your time with and read. It isnt something you will get through fast. It could have been cut down in pages. NOW I want to say that the author knows how to write! That is for sure!!! Its just that this book was very slow and I am a lover of a story that grabs me and keeps me going until the last page. I did read part of book 2 and it seems it is a little better. So I guess well see.

I liked this book, but I didn't LOVE this book. I actually thought the second one was much better than the first, and I got hounded for that. It's not for everyone. most people will say read this if you liked The Hunger Games, but I don't think you can compare them at all. I do love Oliver, tho. I think her writing is very good and I've read everything she's written (middle grade, as well). I am interested to see where she takes the third book.
Ya I have book 2. I just finished Level 2 which is out in Jan and it was GREAT! So book two of this series is on my books to read list. Its just getting enough ahead in reviews to be able to read it. But since I read pretty fast I dont think that will be an issue.
I didn't like this book. I love the concept, but couldn't get myself to actually like it.
I really enjoyed the series as a whole, but there were something I didn't like.Were you able to watch the pilot on Hulu for the tv show?
