Review:
Last night we decided we wanted to try something different. So we decided to go to Outback Steakhouse.  This was the first time we had been there.  We were delighted to not have to wait in any line.  We were seated as soon as we got in to the restaurant. The restaurant was clean and the music playing wasn't to loud.  The smell was wonderful and it made us all very hungry.  We started looking over menu and realized that they didn't have much to choose from.  Unless all you wanted to eat steak only.  For those who were carted along if you don't want steak they offer a small range of burgers, sea food, and one kind of pasta.

For the kids they offer a range from mac and cheese to cheese burgers.

Our waitress was ok at best.  She did refill our drinks twice.  But, as soon as we needed something she was nowhere to be seen.

We ordered and the food came out very quickly.  The Bloom'Onion was somewhat undercooked in spots.  But it was mostly under the dip.  So that wasn't that big a deal.  The batter they use is very spicy.  The dip we didn't care for though.

My husband got the Moonshine Burger and he stated that it was pretty good.  But he has had better.  The fries portion that came with it was very small.  It was around maybe 10-15 fries.

The Moonshine BBQ Ribs were pretty good.  There wasn't enough sauce so we had to ask for more and again the portion size for a full rack was very small compared to others that we have gotten.

The Dressed Potato was supposed to be the side with the Ribs but we ended up paying for it as a second side as the waitress didn't hear us state that we didn't want the broccoli.

The next thing we also got was the Watermelon Hooch Punch which was YUMMY.  The alcohol was not very noticeable and they filled the glass shown below more than half way with ice. So you really didn't get the entire drink.

The Mini Milkshake is very small. But, that was fine as it is very strong.  I ordered the Chocolate one and I almost didn't finish it.

The dessert trio was so worth the money.  We though it was going to be three very small portions but it ended up being a normal size.  So this is something to get if you want dessert to feed three or more.

We had to pay for our kids drink.  I don't know how much it was all sep. because they lump them all together.

Last Words:

All in all I don't think we will be going back anytime soon for their food.  I think if we do decide to go back it will only be for that triple dessert sampler and the mini milkshakes.
