#Review of Wicked Games by Sean Olin #Published @HarperTeen

Wicked Games is the first book in a sexy thriller series where passion, lies, and revenge collide-perfect for fans of Simone Elkeles and Sara Shepard.

To all the locals in the small beach town of Dream Point, Carter and Lilah seem like the perfect It Couple-but their relationship is about to brutally unravel before everyone's eyes.

Carter has always been a good guy, and while Lilah has a troubled past, she's been a loyal girlfriend for the last four years. When smart, sexy Jules enters the picture at a senior-year bash, Carter succumbs to temptation. And when Lilah catches wind of his betrayal, she decides that Jules needs to pay.

By the end of the summer, the line between right and wrong will be blurred beyond recognition. Blood will be shed. Nothing in Dream Point will ever be the same.

This juicy summer read will keep readers turning pages until the shocking, nail-biting finale.

So this one will take you for a loop.  No not a good one a bad one.  Its full of this boy doesn't like this girl so instead of ending things he decides to cheat on her with another girl. Then first girl finds out via catching them together and decides to get revenge.  Toss in some pill usage, a lot of cheating, and you have this one summed up pretty well.  I tried to read the entire thing but ended sipping to the last few chapters a little past 100 pages.  I just couldn't stand the flat characters anymore.  The main character needed some help like hospital help.  And I can't understand that if everyone INCLUDING her mother knew she had stopped taking her meds. Why not get her the help she needed.  At the start of this book I didnt know what I was getting into. It started out very good but just lost me along the way.  Lilah was very clinging to start and Carter just seems like a pretty boy.

So go into this one knowing:

Its slow
Sorta has insta love (Julia had been crushing on Carter for a while but he didnt know she was alive)
Third person POV so things are somewhat jumbled

PS I can't believe that this is a trilogy
