#Tour & #Review of I Become Shadow by @joeshinetweets #Published @soho_teen #Giveaway

Ren Sharpe was abducted at fourteen and chosen by the mysterious F.A.T.E. Center to become a Shadow: the fearless and unstoppable guardian of a future leader. Everything she held dear—her family, her home, her former life—is gone forever.

Ren survives four years of training, torture, and misery, in large part thanks to Junie, a fellow F.A.T.E. abductee who started out as lost and confused as she did. She wouldn’t admit it was possible to find love in a prison beyond imagining, but what she feels for Junie may just be the closest thing to it.

At eighteen they part ways when Ren receives her assignment: find and protect college science student Gareth Young, or die trying. Life following a college nerd is uneventful, until an attack on Gareth forces Ren to track down the only person she can trust. When she and Junie discover that the F.A.T.E. itself might be behind the attacks, even certain knowledge of the future may not be enough to save their kidnappers from the killing machines they created.

I BECOME SHADOW is my debut novel, it's my debut anything over thirty pages if we're being honest.

I live in Austin, TX where I currently spend my days working a normal human job. My spare time is pretty well spoken for and split between writing and yard work.

Short Review
This one is for those of middle to higher teen.  There is no real love triangle in this one.  Ok maybe a hint but not in the same way.  Deff. Clifhanger worthy book. So want book 2! The setting is in our world and time.  The romance took second string to this comic thriller and the characters were
Kick-butt amazing!

Full Review
This one was bad! And in bad I mean BAD A** man this one will make you so want to stalk the author wanting to know when book two will be coming out!!

Ok so to start out I am going to tell you a safe word.  Which will be Milkshake when we get back to the present ill say the word.

Ok so this one is the 4 year story of 14-18 year old Ren. She is the below average teen. She gets pretty good grades and is getting ready to start high school.  Well things don't go as planned and she is thrust into a world of killers, secrets, and well the future. But, without this one being a time travel book.

I really loved how this book was written.  It was done in a no nonsense all thrills way.  Ren even states about skipping 3 months in the book because nothing really happened. Then she goes into giving you the highlights or the lowlights of those three months.

Never has a book grabbed me like this one has.  And just because I think its awesome Ren is a girl and this was written by a guy! How cool is that?!

Ok so this story really starts off with our main character getting something that well I would deff have to agree with her lol.  She is getting a.......wait for it.........Pap Smear!.....MMM...Cant I say that on here? (Looks around...ok all good)  Yup thats what she is getting and well she deciders to call it more of Pap Probe and well ya I would totally agree with that one.  This is just one of the things that is in this book that will make you laugh your butt off!

(sorry got distracted by a trailer for the Giver)

Ok so back to this review.  Ok so ya this book goes through tons of this quirky witty writing that just makes me love this book so much more. And really makes me want to go back and highlight as well as get this author on my #ReadOn show. (Ps if you reading this go to Services- #ReadOn- and fill out the form lol)  Its really that good!!

This book could be described as a Princess Diaries book although instead of the ugly girl becoming a beautiful princess she becomes someone who could kill you with a capri-sun straw (yes she does say that in the book)

Fans of La-Feme Nikita, The new book The Murder Complex, and even the Shatter Me series will die to read this one!

This days, I would rather like to know how to protect myself. The world is crazy.

No thank you!! I'd rather just learn self-defense. :)

Not really, I am particularly squeamish, so I don't think it would work out.
