#SBPT: Top Three Books I Want to See as Movies with @nextpageplease_

This week we have another Kaitlin this time from Next Page Please
 About the Author

My name is Kaitlin.  I read Young Adult fiction books from dystopian to romance. I prefer any book that is mystery, contemporary, romance, dystopian, post-apocalyptic. I'm not very strong when it comes to the fantasy and paranormal genre but...I can last through a book. My favorite books include Let's Get Lost, Since You've Been Gone, Percy Jackson and the Olympians, We Were Liars, and the Legend Trilogy (there are a lot more books but I can't think of them all)! I watch a few TV shows like The Last Airbender, The Legend of Korra, The 100, and Friends! I'm known to be very sarcastic, loud, and the very talkative person. My TBR cannot stop growing and my self control for buying books is non-existent. I hope you enjoy this blog!

Top Three Books I Want to See as Movies

Now I know some of the books I may mention have been rumored to be as films but ignored those. Hopefully they do become films though because they would be awesome! (I have many more books that I would love to be a movie but these are just a few. :))

The first book or series I would love to see as a film is definitely the Legend Trilogy by Marie Lu. I haven’t read this series in a while but I remember I loved it. It was fun, fast, heartbreaking, and everything you could love in a dystopian. I think it would be a great movie because of how much action it has and the plot is just great! I love reading this trilogy and am very much hoping it turns into a movie.

The second book I would love to turned into a movie would definitely be Shadow and Bone. This is Leigh Bardugo’s fantasy novel and the start to an awesome trilogy.  I’m usually not the one to read fantasies but oh dang this one is good! The fantasy world was just great and Leigh’s writing really brought that to life! I loved the plot to this series and the characters as well! One thing that is very complicated with this book is they cannot mess up on the special effects and CGI. Leigh writes about very unique creatures so it would be very easy to screw those up but if done correctly, they will look awesome.

And the last and final book I would want be a movie is Compulsion by Martina Boone! This book is so great and interesting. The plot would play very well as a movie but a lot better as a show. One thing I love about the plot to this book is that there is more to what meets the eye. It just leaves me wanting more of the story and characters and I love that! Plus, Martina’s writing is great so it made the book seem so alive and I love it. :)
