In 2004, Kimberly & James Dean sat down at their kitchen table to work on a children's book together. Their dream finally became a reality with the release of Pete the Cat and His Magic Sunglasses. Both left corporate jobs in the late nineties (James was an electrical engineer, Kimberly worked in the press office of the governor of Georgia) to pursue their passion for art, and they have experienced a life made up of strange and wonderful coincidences ever since. This book was very cute. It had a little bit of a mystery and a great lesson on second chances and forgiveness. Its full of colorful pages and artwork and a story that kids won't be able to put down. Add in the adults and read it to your kids for even more fun! The story was very interesting the story is on when cupcakes start going missing! This cute little book shows kids how to subtract by two's with a nice little story/mystery. So pick it up and find out who is taking the cupcakes and get ready to party!
