#alaac18 Here we come!!

Well it seems fortune is at it again!! Thanks to a friend that I have known for ages we will be heading to this years alaac18 in New Orleans.  With everything that has been going on with Endy's T1D and my mothers Breast Cancer I am very happy that we will be able to go full on book event for a few days and just leave everything behind us.

I will be posting updates as we drive. So far we are leaving the night of the 20th and will be in New Orleans from the 21-25. I can not tell you how much this made my year!

Anarece will be there with some older ARCs and books that we have acumulated over the years that we want to find new homes for.  She had a blast doing this two years ago here in Florida and she is excited to be able to do it again.  So if you see us there come and show us you follow both @crossroadreview and @LoveAnarece and you get a free book.

Endy will also be joining us this time around.  So I am happy to share this event with her as well.  She is full on with the manga and graphic novels and an artist so I can't wait to see her reactions to some of the things that we know are going to be there.

This even is just so magical if you ask me.  After attenting BookCon and BEA two years ago I have to say out of the three events I really loved ALAAC16 the most.  Everyone was VERY nice and tried to help in every way they could.  There was no pushing, yelling, screaming, or rude people at all which made the event so much nicer.  I remember being in line at Bookcon and BEA and having people try to get around my wheelchair. Forciing it out of the way and even one time tipping it over.

I really can not wait to go to this event again!
