About the Author: Carol Lynch Williams, a two-time winner of the Utah Original Writing Competition, is the author of several books for children, including two novels about the Orton family of New Smyrna, Florida: Kelly and Me and Adeline Street. My Review: This book started out a bit slow, but I loved it by the end. I did think there was too much time spent talking about bras and bosoms. I loved Winston, Nanny and their relationship. This book is just full of unforgettable characters.  I don't know how I feel about Steve. He seems nice now but I don't know... I liked the ending even though I knew what was coming. It's a short and sweet coming of age story with an old fashioned southern feel.
