My Review: Anarece ended up not being able to read this one alone as a lot of the words were just a little to much for her.  We also found out that this is really a young adult novel.  But that was fine becuase reading out loud to her was so much fun as I haven't been able to do that for years.  This is one cute little book where our main character Mahlorie gets braces and gets struck by lightining. I spend the entire thing laughing so much for the most part. OMG this book is so funny.  I do wish that the author would have done something else with the cover becuase although it does depict the story very well. It makes it look way younger than what it really is.  

From the first few pages I was laughing so bad and so pulled into the story.  I loved Mahlorie's snarky  comebacks and it really reminded me of my oldest who is 14.  The author also does an amazing job with making each storm and more come to life right on the page. I loved how the story went along and ended and I could really use another one becuase I really want to know what Mal is up to these days.  If you are looking for an interesting story about lighting and more and are also looking for some snarky comebacks from the characters that will make you laugh you should totally pick this one up!
