About the Author: KRISTY CAMBRON is an award-winning author of historical fiction, including her bestselling debut The Butterfly and the Violin, and an author of Bible studies, including the Verse Mapping series. She's a Women's Ministry Leader at Southeast Christian Church in Louisville, KY, and a passionate storyteller who travels to speak at events across the country, encouraging women to experience a deeper life in the Word through verse mapping. Her work has been named to Publishers Weekly Religion & Spirituality TOP 10, Library Journal Reviews' Best Books, RT Reviewers' Choice Awards, and received 2015 & 2017 INSPY Award nominations. My Review: We are off to Ireland with this one and I have to say that I should have read book one. I felt a lot lost in this one and had to go look up what happened in book one so I could read this one. So after that, I had a better take on what was going down in this one. Now if you are religious I will tell you that although this is published by Thomas Nelson this book didn't seem very religious at all. There is some language, lying, etc. So although this is published by a Christan publisher I think this book will appeal to a lot of readers who are not.
The time periods of this one were great. We get three very strong women that could have been three separate stories. I loved every second of it. It was well paced and just really was a great read.
The romance in this one was light and great and I swear this was just a great book.
