Synopsis:   To some he was Orphan X. Others knew him as the Nowhere Man. But to Jack Johns he was a boy named Evan Smoak. Taken from an orphanage, Evan was raised inside a top-secret government programme and trained to become a lethal weapon. By Jack. And yet for all the dangerous skill he instilled in his young charge, Jack Jones cared for Evan like a son.

But Jack knew too much about a programme that had gone rotten - he was a loose end that needed to be dealt with. But if you go after the only person who ever treated him like a human being, you can guarantee that the Nowhere Man will be coming for you. Hellbent on making things right . . .

With Hellbent, Gregg Hurwitz raises the bar again with a masterclass in hi-octane thriller writing.

“Superb on all levels and a must-read for all thriller fans.” ―Providence Journal

"Beautifully rendered... genius at work." ―Winnipeg Free Press
“Hurwitz knows how to put the reader deep in the mind of his hero as the pace never lets up.” ―Associated Press
“Will keep readers on the edge of their seats… Hurwitz’s engaging, sympathetic characters place this thriller above the pack.” ―Publishers Weekly (starred review)
“A brilliant sequel. As good as Orphan X was, this is an even better novel, mostly because of its more claustrophobic setting, its captivating villain, and the way the author keeps ratcheting up the danger, including one really clever twist near the end of the book. Where there’s Smoak, there’s fire―and plenty of it.” ―Booklist (starred review)
“Fans of Jack Reacher will love Evan Smoak, a man who will do anything to aid the innocent (something he never was).” ―Library Journal

My Review:  I have to say that I think this one might be my favriote!  This one was so packed with characters, story, action, and suspense that I think I read it in like 2 hours.  Prob. not but still I read this one FAST!!  I will have to totally come back and read these again soon becuase once you start you can not put it down!! I really wonder how this hasn't become a tv series or something becuase this one especially would be perfect for that.  Like shows of 24, FBI, and more this one would be right along side those with the action and thilling aspects of the story!!

This one left me wanting one more book which of course there is but sadly I have already read it lol.  And I want to read more.

I will say one thing about this one.  I read book four without reading these and although I felt ok I think it would have been better to read these first.  This one however seemed better thought out for those who have not read books one and two.  I think this one people would be ok to read without reading those if need be.

Go Into This One Knowing: ACTION!
