My Review: I haven't had the best of luck with this author's books but this one changed all that.  I really enjoyed the magical realism in this one.  So many authors try and do that and sometimes it works and well sometimes it doesn't.  But for this one it worked out well.  This book grabbed my attention from the very first page and it didn't let go until the very last one. 

This book covers so much from domestic violence to a cursed family to even a magical farm. And I enjoyed every second of it. It was well paced and the dual POV worked so well for this story.  It was one that left me wanting to turn the pages all the faster.  

The characters were well developed and I just loved everyone.  I can not wait for another book by McGarry!
