My Review:
Legacy of a King by Charlene Sponsel was such a wonderful story. This story used the classic story of star-crossed lovers with a feuding world set to the backdrop of an epic fantasy! The story started outs well it drew me in with the characters and world building and I could not put it down!Fantasy worlds are my all time favorites and this one did well keeping me hooked until the very last page.

The setting of Legacy of a King had multiple layers as well as ruling regions all set within the land of Conica.  Time in this title is very fast.  We go from Illota being young to being married and having her own children.  I really enjoyed the pacing of this story.  I think that Charlene Sponsel did a wonderful job.  The romance in this one was wonderful it bloomed to fruition and we didn’t have to worry about insta-love which was a nice change for the norm.

The world building in this one to start teetered on info dumping but I still enjoyed learning about their world.  I kind of wished that this would have been given to us throughout the story as it wouldn’t have given me so much to remember all at once.

Illota was such a great character. I really enjoyed that the author shortened her name to Lili because I know I don’t have to tell you about crazy names in books.

I also want to say that this book was dialogue heavy.  I didn’t think it was overly done but I could have used a little more description etc.  I think that about half way through the book things really started to flow a lot better.

Overall in the end this was one fantasy book that I really loved.  I will totally have to get myself a copy of this title.  And I will totally be checking out more titles from Charlene Sponsel.
