My Review: Tory and Darcy were never your average girls. Twins who grew up in foster care thrown out as soon as they turned 18. They have both known their fair share of troubles and have led interesting lives doing what they can to get by, like stealing limited edition motorcycles. However, one day their world as they know it is turned upside down by a “professor” and life will never be the same. I really enjoyed this book. If you love a good fantasy book with action and some kick ass heroines this is the book for you. With a unique magic system based off of the main elements as well as links to the zodiac this book will have you staying up all night wanting to read more. I also enjoyed that this book was dual perspective and we get to hear both sides of the girl’s stories as well as the people they meet along the way. I also enjoyed how vividly she described the world as well. You could close your eyes and swear that you were there at the Zodiac Academy with all the other students. I can not wait to continue on with this series.
