Top Ten Tuesday was created by The Broke and the Bookish in June of 2010 and was moved to That Artsy Reader Girl in January of 2018. It was born of a love of lists, a love of books, and a desire to bring bookish friends together.
This week is about Books On My TBR I’m Avoiding Reading and Why (maybe you’re scared of it, worried it won’t live up to the hype, etc.) (submitted by Caitlin @ Caitlin Althea)
When I was thinking about this post the only books that really came to me were the Harry Potter series. Which is about ten books if you add all 7 books and the Tales and well who knows whatelse. But I will only be talking about these. Over the years back when the movies were first coming out. I read book three. The Prisoner of Azkaban. I have tried to read the first book a few times. But its so close to the movie that I end up putting it down and well just rewatching the movie. I guess for me it really makes me feel like I am just reading the movie. I know that I will eventually get to all of them. But just not right now. Maybe when I am in my 90's lol.
