#BookReview: The Angel's Vow (Bloodcaster Chronicles, #2) by R.L. Perez

Synopsis: He's an angel. She's a demon. Their love was never meant to be.

Vince Delgado has become a Reaper—a dark angel. While adjusting to his new life and new powers, he uncovers a shocking mystery: someone is stealing magic from the souls of the dead.

Cora Covington struggles to fill her new role as demon coven leader. As she tries to quell the riots and unrest in the city, she discovers a new threat: another Bloodcaster is among them. Someone as powerful as Cora.

When Vince and Cora finally reunite, the passion between them escalates. Though they want to be together, their enemies draw closer—until Vince and Cora realize their two conflicts are connected. But to defeat their enemies, they must set aside their feelings for each other and make sacrifices for their people.

Even if it tears them apart forever.

My Review: This one picks up where book one left off.  Although this one was much slower to start than book one I still really enjoyed it.  I liked that each story stood on its own then became one like in book one.  It was another great story as we learn even more about Cora and Vince.  I loved seeing more of this world that Perez has created.

R.L. Perez is an author, wife, mother, reader, writer, and teacher. She lives in Florida with her husband and two children. On a regular basis, she can usually be found napping, reading, feverishly writing, revising, or watching an abundance of Netflix. More than anything, she loves spending time with her family. Her greatest joys are her two kids, nature, literature, and chocolate.
