#BookReview: Miss Matched by @Wendy_Million @WattpadBooks

Synopsis: When matchmaking software pairs a woman with her worst ex, she gets a unique second chance to connect with the love of her life.

After years of bad dates, Tayla Murphy has decided it’s finally time she found her ideal partner, so she pays a hefty fee for a cutting-edge “soulmate” matching service. But the infallible algorithm must have a serious glitch, because it pairs her with the one man on Earth she never wants to see Simon―the man who left her heart in pieces when he broke off their engagement six years ago. Tayla would rather cut her losses, but if she’s going to move forward with her life, she needs the money back.

Then Simon shows up on her doorstep, promising Tayla he can get her a refund by showing the service that the match was wrong. But he wants her to really prove they aren’t meant to be―by dating him for the next month. Even though he thinks the service is a fraud, Simon has been desperate for a second chance with Tayla ever since he messed up their shot at happily-ever-after. They still have an amazing connection, but a lot has happened in the time they were apart. So is this a mismatch or a perfect match?

This title will be released on June 13, 2023.

My Review: Miss Matched is a second chance romance that I could not put down.  The dual POV worked well for this story and I loved the chemistry that the two MCs had.  It was funny and will make you hope you can find your soul mate.

Review

“This upbeat, humorous second-chance romance is told from both protagonists’ points of view, giving readers a more intimate look at the feelings they keep secret from one another. The well-developed characters have good chemistry, and their backstory is slowly revealed as Simon struggles to be honest with Tayla . . . Enjoyable . . . recommended.” ―Library Journal

“If a dating service that promised to match you to your soulmate matched you to your ex would you run toward them or away? That’s the question at the heart of this
fun and sexy novel. Will Tayla and Simon make their way back to each other or is the matching service all a scam? Who believes in soulmates, anyway? You will after you finish Miss Matched.” ―Catherine McKenzie, USA TODAY bestselling author of Arranged and Spin

"There's nothing more rom com than exploring the idea of "soulmates," and
Miss Matched did a great job diving into that in a relatable way, given how modern dating tools can build up hopes and expectations. I also loved that this second-chance romance had dual POV, because when there's so much complicated history, it really ratchets up the tension―and that was definitely the case with Simon and Tayla, who had amazing chemistry throughout!" ―Romi Moondi, author of 24 Hours in Italy

"This book
destroyed me in the best way possible." ―Megan M, Librarian

"This is probably
the best second chance romcom that I have ever read." ―Sharon M, Librarian

"[A]n emotional
rollercoaster mixed with a happy sigh and a sweet thank-you." ―Beyond the Pages with Eva

"Second chance romance? Check. Epic grovel? Check. Angst? Check check check. Redemption? CHECK." ―Fifiey, Netgalley reviewer

"The chemistry and banter between these two is sweet and steamy." ―Katie, Netgalley reviewer

"Such a sweet read! Tay and Simon are such a perfect couple." ―Ali, Netgalley review
