My Review:  This was a solid fantasy book. It felt a little slow at some parts, but the story was entertaining enough to keep reading. By the end of the book I was not interested to keep reading the series. Sometimes I don't like when the second book is going to start with characters at odds with each other and I could tell that was where it was going. If that doesn't bother you, I recommend trying it out.
