My Review: The first book in the Ice Planet Barbarians series by Ruby Dixon tells the story of a group of women who are taken from Earth and left on a cold planet.

We meet Georgie, a 22-year-old who falls asleep in her own bed and wakes up on a spaceship with other young women. They're healthy, not pregnant, and have no family nearby. One woman has a device to understand the captors. They face tough times and discover they're on an alien planet, not Earth. Georgie becomes their leader and seeks help. She meets a local barbarian and, after some difficulties, convinces him to help. Their adventure is exciting and kept me hooked. I'm eager to see what happens next in the series.
