My Review: In the Shadows by J. A. Owenby is a fast paced, gripping thriller full of suspense, mystery, and spice.

What would happen if you were the obsession of a serial killer? They want you, but do they want to add you to their list, or do they want to make you their Queen?

Many plots rely on the darkness of one character and the light of another to tell a dynamic tale of twisted morality, good versus evil, and happily ever after endings - but life is so much more complicated than that. Rarely is one person all light or all dark - often we're shades in between. What happens when we take those shades of our soul and place it into a book... where the only boundaries are that of our imagination? What would we allow ourselves to go through within the pages of a shadowy tale?

For those who enjoy dark, twisted, morally grey characters (or outright shadows on the soul) - this one is for you!
