This debut really surprised me in the best way. It's one of those stories that balances character-driven moments with big-picture worldbuilding without ever losing its footing. The themes of rebellion, self-discovery, and what it means to “fail” in a broken system hit hard, but there’s also this underlying spark of hope that keeps you going. For a first book, the writing felt super confident and unique—I’m definitely keeping an eye on where this series goes next.
