Definitely check the trigger warnings before starting this one—there are some really heavy themes. Honestly, this just didn’t work for me. The pacing dragged, and getting the abuser’s POV was uncomfortable and really hard to get through. It felt like the story never fully found its footing, and by the end, I was just kind of over it. Not sure I’d pick up anything else from this author.
