This is one of those books where I seriously started wondering—did I read the same thing as everyone else? With all the glowing 5-star reviews and a premise that sounded like it was tailor-made for me, I thought I was about to discover a new obsession. But the writing style just didn’t click at all. It felt clunky, hard to follow, and no matter how much I wanted to get into it, I just couldn’t mesh with it. Definitely not for me.
