This one was a solid read! My only gripe is that it felt a little on the longer side, and I think trimming down 50-100 pages could have made the pacing a bit tighter. That said, I still really enjoyed it. The magical system was fascinating and perfectly suited to the world, and the setting added so much to the atmosphere. The characters were set up in a way that makes me excited to see how they’ll grow throughout the series. It’s a great start, and I’m looking forward to what’s next!
