This had the kind of plot I usually love — forced marriage, enemies to lovers, and a fantasy world full of tension. But the writing felt really choppy. Like, it didn’t flow well, and that made it hard to stay locked in. You could tell it was a debut, and while there were some cool ideas, it didn’t fully work for me. That being said this is a full on take it or leave it story. I would say if you want to check this one out to maybe try the library.
