My Review:
This one had a really sweet premise with the family rivalry, food culture, and slow-burn tension, but it didn’t fully hit for me. I loved the focus on culture, tradition, and how much food connected everyone, and the romance had some genuinely cute moments. That said, parts of the story felt a bit drawn out and the emotional beats didn’t always land as strongly as I wanted. Overall, it’s a warm, heartfelt read with good intentions, just not one that completely pulled me in.
