My Review:
This one is definitely a take it or leave it kind of read. The revenge driven hero and the sunshine meets darkness dynamic give it that intense, edgy romance vibe right from the start.
Quentin’s inner turmoil and Anora’s determination to see the good in him create some solid tension, especially once secrets start creeping in. The push and pull between danger and devotion is there, and it keeps things moving.
For me, it was an okay read overall. If you like darker romance with a broody, morally gray hero, this might be your thing.
