Queen of Flames was a satisfying conclusion to the Kingdom of Shadow and Ruin series. I really enjoyed the gothic atmosphere, fae court, dangerous games, and the race against time to break Lore’s curse. The relationship between Lore and the heroine remained at the heart of the story, with plenty of yearning, devotion, banter, and determination to fight for their happily ever after. The audiobook brought the characters and magical world to life and made for an enjoyable way to experience the final chapter of their journey.
