My Review:
The Tarot Trials was such a fun audiobook! I loved the tarot magic, deadly competition, and all the scheming that came with the Trials. Kestrel was a great character to follow, and I really enjoyed watching her learn to use her powers while trying to uncover the truth about what happened to her mother.
The characters, alliances, betrayals, and twists kept the story moving, and there was plenty of tension throughout. I also enjoyed the different tarot champions and the powers each one brought to the story.
This was a fast-paced and entertaining listen with a great fantasy setup. I’m definitely interested in seeing where this series goes next!
