I really enjoyed listening to Monster, Monarch, Maiden! Rae Carson has a way of creating fantasy worlds that completely pull me in, and this was such a fun adventure to experience in audiobook form.
I loved Bria as a character and watching her discover that she’s much stronger and more capable than she believes. The magic, secrets, adventure, and slow-burn romance all worked really well together, and there were plenty of moments that kept me wanting to listen to just one more chapter.
I’m a huge fan of Rae Carson’s The Girl of Fire and Thorns, so I was excited to dive into another one of her fantasy stories. This definitely reminded me why I enjoy her writing so much. The audiobook was a great way to experience Bria’s journey, and I found myself looking forward to getting back to it whenever I could.
If you enjoy fantasy with magic, adventure, romance, and a heroine finding her strength, definitely give this one a listen!
