Harry Potter Thursdays is my weekly meme where we talk about Harry Potter.  I will also be adding Tips and Tricks for Universal Orlando here in Florida.  So if you have passes or are thinking of coming here then this is the post you will want to check out.

Ok so sometime this year I am bound and determined to sit down and read all 8 books. I know I know I am a very bad reader/reviewer for not already doing this!  I have seen all of the movies mores than once.  So I will be attempting to read all of them this year.  And maybe getting my 10 year old to do the same.  

Universal Orlando Tips

Ok so for last weeks tips it was about what pass is best for you.  I really hope that I helped you guys out.  This weeks tip is what time is the best time to go!

1. If you have a premier pass then getting to the park around 1-2pm is best.  That way by the time you get into the park, go potty if need be, and get ready to ride rides. It is almost 4pm. So you will have your express to get through the lines faster.

2. If you are just visiting then the best thing to do is get their early! Like before the park even opens.  Now if you are staying in one of the special hotels you will get in an hour early anyway.  But, if you play it cheap and don't. You are better off getting to the park about two hours before the park opens. That way you can get in and get in line fast.

The next thing to do is start in the back If you go to the Universal side then start in the back by MIB that way you can work your way forward.  May people start in the front and do a circle.  But, starting in the back is so much better.  Less people that way.

Right now you will want to stay away from the new Harry Potter section.  Its best to spend just one day there since you will end up taking a lot of time.  So if you are just visiting then plan one day to spend just in the HP sections.


If you are going to the Islands section then stay away from the HP and do the Jurassic Park section first.  I say this because there is really only one ride back there (PS YOU WILL GET WET!) then depending on if you want to do water rides or dry rides will depend on what you do next.  If your back is to this ride taking a right will take you to the water rides, a left will take you to the HP section.
