Whenever I read on my phone at night, I fall asleep with it on my hand.

Well, I don't read on my phone when I'm off to sleep. Then I read on the PC or a proper book, because the phone screen is small... I read on the phone when I'm out and about. Like on the bus, before meetings...
I think there's a trick to reading several books at one time. Like, a limit to how many, and what time of day do you read a certain book. I've found it helps.
The NO! on lending out on books is very firm, but I do make an exception on books that are mandatory reading for schools. See, though I've finished school, I wish to have a good classics collection, so from time to time when I find one I like, specially if I know it's could be required to read in school, I'll get it for my collection. And those books I only lend out to my family or the very very few people I know would treat them well, or will replace if something happened to it. This is why, like just recently, when my neighbors grandkid needed a book for school, she came to ask it from me. I also set those type of books separatly so I would know where they are. Most other's are alphabetically on the shelves.
I wish I'd given better answers. :)
