  This is my weekly meme where people can ask questions and well ill answer them.  Last week we talked about Kindle Unlimited.  This week is about memes.  So whats a meme? This is a meme lol.  Its a weekly, bi weekly, or monthly etc. post that a blog/site does.  Ok so whats in a meme?  Well for me I wanted to create something new that not everyone was doing. So I came up with an entire week 7 memes that are either a play on something or something completely new.   So here are 3 things you should and shouldn't do in memes.  1. Doing something new vs something that someone else is doing.  This one can hurt and help you.  So the best thing to do is do a blend!  Because, if you use a meme that others are doing like Staking the Shelves, Waiting on Wednesday etc.  you can usually link up to the host sites post and then if their site is very active then your post gets out there more as well.   But, doing something new can also help you as it would be something that other people haven't seen. But, doing something new can also hurt you esp. if your site is new.  Because, if its new then no one else is going to be looking at it.   So the best thing to do is do a blend.  Do 3 or 4 memes that have a very good following then 4 or 3 that are your own creation.  That way you have a blend of new and old memes that people will love.  2. Be consistent!  If your meme is weekly then post it weekly.  If you can't come up with something then change the posting to bi weekly etc.  Because, once you really get going people start expecting your posts and well if its not there they might not come back. So if you have to miss a week make sure you note it.   3. Buttons, Make sure you get the button.  Either make one or use the one that is provided.  But make sure you have one.  Having a meme button allows people to know what the meme is quickly.
