About the Author: Holly Black is the author of bestselling contemporary fantasy books for kids and teens. Some of her titles include The Spiderwick Chronicles (with Tony DiTerlizzi), The Modern Faerie Tale series, the Curse Workers series, Doll Bones, The Coldest Girl in Coldtown, the Magisterium series (with Cassandra Clare), The Darkest Part of the Forest, and her new series which begins with The Cruel Prince in January 2018.

My Review: This story was also quite original. It was kind of slow for me at the beginning. I really like diversity in this though. I was not expecting the ending. The characters are so complex and well written. Holly Black does an amazing job with her descriptions. I love her writing style. But most of all, I loved the atmosphere. I loved it. My only complaint is that Black left a lot of her plot-lines half finished.But overall this book was awesome!!

Do I Recommend this book? Oh heck yeah!
