@SourcebooksFire 4 Star #Review of Always, Abigail by @NancyJCavanaugh

Discover Abigail's triumphant story of friendship told through heart-touching letters and lists

Abigail and her two best friends are poised for a life of pom-poms and popularity. But not only does Abigail end up in a different homeroom, she doesn't make the squad. Then everyone's least favorite teacher pairs Abigail up with the school's biggest outcast, Gabby Marco, for a year-long "Friendly Letter Assignment." Abigail can hardly believe her bad luck. As her so-called best friends and entire future of popularity seems to be slipping away, Abigail has to choose between the little bit of fame she has left or letting it go to be a true friend.
 About the Author

Nancy J. Cavanaugh lives in Florida with her husband and daughter. She spends her summers eating pizza in her former hometown of Chicago. She loves reading middle grade novels. Her secret? She hasn't read an adult book in years.

This was an adorable book written in list.  I thought that was kinda weird but the 10 year old loved it. It made the story a very fast read but she wishes that there were some parts that would have been in normal story form.  It is a great story about standing up for your self.  It also depicts a a pretty good picture of middle school.  The only other issue was that the ending I think it could have been worked out a little better.
