Although the book is well made, colorful, and adorable.  I think the cost of $29.99 is way expensive. I understand that it is personalized but, for something that your child will age out of I just can't see spending that much on it.  

That being said for this book you have two options!  The first is the one where you are adding your child to the story! $29.99 

The second option is to just have it with Hello Kitty and Me. Your child is no longer in the book. But, it retails at $9.99 (click the buy link below to see it via amazon) 

So each book gives you the option you are searching for!
